Dr Trevor Barnes returned to Ladakh with another major humanitarian dental team from New Zealand in August 2014. Dr Barnes was following up on his monumentally successful dental expedition in 2012 when his team screened and treated over 2,000 patients in our make-shift dental clinic temporarily set up in a cavernous auditorium while our new dental clinic was still under construction. This year, Dr Barnes and his colleagues were able to enjoy the productivity made possible by working in our well equipped dental clinic and his team responded with even more impressive results. Our friends from New Zealand also brought an enormous amount of dental supplies and equipment to donate to the clinic inventory. Heartfelt gratitude from all of us to these wonderful humanitarians from New Zealand!
