Dr Swee Chong has received the two Gynocular portable colposcopes which we have ordered from the Gynius Company in Sweden. These units will vastly improve our ability to conduct accurate internal examinations of women who are living in some of the most remote regions in the world. We look forward to utilzing them extensively during the upcoming Himalayan Women’s Health Care Project expedition to Ladakh which is being mobilized and led by Dr Swee Chong May 16 > 28, 2015. We optimistically target screening 1,000 women for pre-malignant lesions and other gynaecological maladies during the camp and these splendid new portable examination tools will increase the physicians efficiency tremendously.
